Once the binary is installed, run it on CMake as you would any other project. In order to build CMake from a source tree on Windows, you must first install the latest binary version of CMake because it is used for building the source tree. The Download page also provides source releases.
Critical CVE-2023-4863: Heap buffer overflow in WebP. One may alternatively download and build CMake from source. Please see the Chrome Security Page for more information. Below, we highlight fixes that were contributed by external researchers. We will also retain restrictions if the bug exists in a third party library that other projects similarly depend on, but haven’t yet fixed.
